Amanda is the visionary behind Nola Petites and a mom of three fantastic children. As an educator for 20+ years in the New Orleans area, she has a true passion for working with young learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their developmental, academic, social, language, and motor skills is a challenge that she is honored to accept daily.  The little "Aha" moments are what make teaching so special for her. Her goal is to create a community of learners that feel loved and grow in a positive, diverse, safe, and fun environment.  To her teaching is a privilege!

Tiffany is our fabulous Assistant Director, curriculum coach, and mom of two loving kiddos.  She has been in education for 15+ years and especially loves the arts. Tiffany is a certified dance teacher and brings creativity and expression to our school. She believes that the arts are a stepping block for all kinds of learning. Her philosophy is that the world around us can teach us so much. Colors, shapes, and sounds that we experience on a daily basis are some of the greatest learning tools. Together with our team of amazing and creative teachers, she is committed to providing families with a loving and developmentally sound foundation for a lifetime of learning. She knows that children are our future and that having a well-maintained and prepared environment for children to explore is where they will thrive!

Luiza is the heart and soul of Nola Petites, bringing over 15 years of exceptional ESL teaching experience to our vibrant learning community. As our Lead Teacher, she embodies the perfect blend of professional expertise and genuine passion for education, creating a welcoming environment where every student can thrive.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Luiza has dedicated her career to language education across diverse age groups—working with children, teenagers, and adults to achieve communicative success. Her extensive background in ESL teaching has equipped her with unique skills to create dynamic, joyful learning experiences

With a proven track record of helping students develop language skills, she transforms classroom learning into an engaging, culturally rich adventure. Her international experiences provide her with an extraordinary ability to connect with families from various cultural backgrounds, making her an invaluable asset to our educational community.

Luiza believes in nurturing not just language skills, but the whole child. Her approach goes beyond traditional teaching, focusing on helping students become the best versions of themselves while introducing them to a second language with warmth, patience, and expertise

​Kalen, our Pre-K Lead Teacher who proves that education can be as colorful and dynamic! A proud New Orleans native and self-proclaimed anime weeb, Kalen brings a unique blend of pop culture passion and educational expertise to our classroom. Currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) certification, she transforms learning into an epic quest where every student is the main character of their own educational story. Kalen's teaching style is like a perfectly animated classroom crossover part mentor, part cheerleader, and 100% committed to making learning magical. With her infectious energy, multicultural interests (she's even studying Japanese to understand her favorite anime in its original language!), and an ability to turn everyday lessons into exciting missions, she ensures that our youngest learners are not just studying, but embarking on incredible learning adventures. Kalen proves that great teaching is an art form—and she's definitely mastered her craft.

Bursting with youthful enthusiasm and armed with a quick wit that could rival a stand-up comedian, Lexi is not your ordinary teaching assistant—she's a delightful blend of kindness, humor, and warmth that leaves a trail of smiles wherever she goes. Imagine a whirlwind of giggles, high-fives, and spontaneous dance parties.

But don't let her playful demeanor fool you—Lexi takes her role seriously. Her dedication to her job is as solid as a rock. She's the first to lend a helping hand, the go-to person for solving problems, and the ultimate cheerleader for her students' successes. With her, every challenge becomes a chance to grow, every setback a stepping stone to greatness.

Lexi is currently in school majoring in Early Childhood education and is working on her student educational studies to better understand her students and implement our curriculum to the fullest.

Despite being new to formal teaching, she radiates an infectious enthusiasm for childhood learning that goes far beyond traditional instruction creating a nurturing environment where curiosity, love, and discovery are the cornerstone of every educational moment.

 

Drawing from her own journey as a mother of three, India understands the delicate art of connecting with young learners, recognizing that each child is a unique individual with boundless potential.

 

Her approach seamlessly blends maternal warmth with intentional educational strategies, ensuring that every child feels supported, valued, and inspired to explore the world around them with joy and confidence.
